Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences companies have always relied heavily on data. However, during the last few years, data has started to have a more significant impact on their success. The amount of data being produced and stored is increasing exponentially and it helps companies:
- to reduce time to market
- operate with more agility
- increase data integrity
- manage Pharma 4.0 & QbD initiatives
- improve their real-time operational excellence
- maintain knowledge management and risk assessment
- increase productivity, innovation and trust
A holistic data infrastructure removes the barriers of finding, capturing, converting and organizing operational data. It enables companies, partners, CMOs as well as operators and engineers to model enterprise-wide operational intelligence while reducing complexity and cost. With a data infrastructure, assets can be easily analyzed and compared. Analytics can be used for better long-range capital planning and utilization. All of this paves the way for improved operational efficiency and greater uptime across a facility or enterprise.
When companies have the right information at the right time, they can analyze product quality, optimize capital equipment, cross-check environmental conditions with production, and diagnose and solve problems.
