The power industry is undergoing a period of rapid transformation. Adoption of renewables, a stronger focus on reliability, and an emphasis on extending asset lifecycles are forcing operators to carefully consider how they expend their resources and optimize their operations.
To respond to these new pressures, power companies are focusing on maintenance strategies that are more efficient, such as the adoption of real-time digital condition monitoring. The goal is to minimize failures, maximize the use of resources, and increase reliability and availability.
Join us for this live webinar where David Thomason of OSIsoft will discuss the challenges power generation suppliers face today. Special guest, ECG will describe how they address these challenges through the use of real-time equipment health monitoring and diagnostics solutions. They will also highlight how to quickly deploy APR models and demonstrate how they leverage asset-specific casual networks and evidentiary data to arrive at the likelihood of developing equipment faults.
In the webinar you will learn how to help your company:
- Alter the process from a static or periodic assessment to an online, dynamic, real-time assessment of asset health
- Provide a comprehensive data environment that can be used to conduct a more complete analysis of current conditions
- Transforms real-time data into useful information and create event frames to supplement this highly detailed data analysis
- Efficiently perform root cause analysis, in case of a failure
